Becky Grider (She/Her)

SPARK Outreach Coordinator

Becky is the Outreach Coordinator for the SPARK Learning Lab project. In this role, Becky is responsible for supporting early care and education programs in improving their business management knowledge and skills to sustain their programs for SPARK Learning Lab in partnership with Shine Early Learning and Indiana’s Office of Early Childhood and Out of School Learning (OECOSL). She develops content related to operating a high quality early education and care program, which includes digital content in addition to one professional learning community event per month, utilizing the online platform of choice, and three live courses throughout the year – either through the online platform or in-person, depending on the needs of the community.

Becky holds a Master of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from Marian College.

Prior to her work at Transform Consulting she held several roles in Early Childhood Education and Advocacy including working for the Indiana Department of Child Services and the Special Education Department of her local school corporation. She found her passion for helping child care providers by working for and with numerous child care organizations throughout her early career.  As she had her own children, she felt a strong need to help providers build and maintain their businesses so that they could focus on providing quality care for children including her own. Utilizing a collective leadership framework, Becky has been involved in early childhood initiatives bringing together stakeholders from areas such as education, business, and government to create a common language and shared way of working together towards the outcome of thriving children, families, and community.
