Melissa is a Project Consultant at Transform Consulting Group. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Philanthropic Studies and a Master of Public Affairs degree in Nonprofit Management from Indiana University (Indianapolis), and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Indianapolis.
Prior to Transform Consulting Group, she was the Research Associate for Achieve, assisting with qualitative and quantitative research for nonprofits and for-profits focused on causes. At Indiana University, Melissa served as a graduate research assistant for both the research department and the dean of the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
At Transform, Melissa help clients learn from their data by using it to determine clear goals and creating a roadmap to accomplish them.
Melissa is interested in nonprofits related to music, education, or animals. Melissa plays flute with the Indiana Wind Symphony and serves on their marketing committee. She has also started to get involved with a local public education community action coalition.
Melissa has found her passion by always following a path of doing what she enjoys and finds meaningful. Being curious and a critical thinker has made consulting work involving research a perfect fit.
