Lisa is the Business Management Specialist for the SPARK Learning Lab project. In this role, Lisa is responsible for supporting early care and education programs in improving their business management knowledge and skills to sustain their programs for SPARK Learning Lab in partnership with Shine Early Learning and Indiana’s Office of Early Childhood and Out of School Learning (OECOSL). She develops content related to operating a high quality early education and care program, which includes digital content in addition to one professional learning community event per month, utilizing the online platform of choice, and three live courses throughout the year – either through the online platform or in-person, depending on the needs of the community.
Lisa holds a Master of Leadership Development with a concentration in organizational leadership from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Child Development with a minor in Entrepreneurship from Central Michigan University.
Prior to her work at Transform Consulting she held several roles in Early Childhood Education and Advocacy. These experiences have shaped her big picture view that the key to a community’s potential lies within each and every child that lives there who will one day become an adult of that community. Utilizing a collective leadership framework, Lisa has been involved in early childhood initiatives bringing together stakeholders from areas such as education, business, government, and health care to create a common language and shared way of working together towards the outcome of thriving children, families and community.
