Hanako Kawamoto

Transform Consulting Group’s own Hanako Kawamoto has been named 2013 “Outstanding MSW Student of the Year” by the Indiana Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). This award is given along with a $1,000 scholarship to a chosen NASW MSW student member who exemplifies the social work profession’s values, ethics, goals, and mission. Hanako will be honored at an Awards Luncheon during the organization’s annual September 30, 2013 conference. We are so proud of Hanako and grateful to have her on our team!

At Transform Consulting Group, we have found that interns can contribute meaningfully to the services we provide our clients, and in return, we provide valuable real-world experience. Indiana INTERNnet is a free resource for interns and internships where students connect with Indiana employers for valuable internship experiences. This matching program has partnered with the Indiana Commission for Higher Education’s EARN (Employment Aid Readiness Network) Indiana program to provide students offered state financial aid better access to resumé-building paid internships. This program gives employers matching funds for their eligible interns’ salaries. Employers with approved positions receive state matches – up to 50% of a student’s hourly rate, which must meet minimum wage requirements – in exchange for hiring EARN-eligible students. All employers (both non-profit and for-profit) are encouraged to submit positions now for EARN Indiana participation. For more information on how to apply, click here.

Transform Consulting Group is available to provide an array of professional development services to support the talent in your organization. Contact us today for a free consultation!
