Margaret Smith (she/her) is the Business Development & Operations Manager at Transform Consulting Group (TCG). She supports business development activities and works with prospective clients through the proposal and onboarding process. Margaret has worked within the nonprofit and education sectors in a variety of capacities including direct service, program coordination and management, and consulting. After serving as a Project Consultant for TCG from 2018-2021, she is excited to return in this role!
Margaret holds a Masters in Social Work with a concentration in community and organizational leadership from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Marian University. She is passionate about addressing social issues through effective programming, education, and advocacy, and is specifically passionate about addressing issues related to youth. She has worked for several youth-serving nonprofit and social service agencies that focus on youth development, mental health, and advocacy. Most recently, she served as the Assistant Director of City Connects Midwest at Marian University. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing and ensuring successful, effective implementation of the City Connects integrated student support model across 70+ schools in Indiana and Ohio.
Margaret’s favorite part about working for Transform Consulting Group is having the ability to provide crucial “big-picture” services to organizations. As the Business Development & Operations Manager, she looks forward to collaborating with new and potential clients to identify solutions to accelerate their impact!
In her free time, Margaret enjoys reading and being outside with her husband and two children. She lives on the south side of Fishers, IN.
