Honda Youth Education Program Grants

by | Dec 30, 2013

Honda Foundation LogoThe American Honda Foundation is accepting applications from nonprofit organizations and schools for programs or projects that support the teaching of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).  Applications for environmental projects, job training, and literacy programs will also be considered.  Grants of up to $75,000 will be awarded to qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, public school districts, and private/public elementary or secondary schools.

If gross revenue is $500,000 or more, organizations must have two years of independently audited financial statements to be considered for a grant. If gross revenue is less than $500,000, and the organization does not have audits, it may submit two years of financial statements accompanied by an independent CPA’s review report instead.  See the American Honda Foundation website for complete eligibility and application guidelines as well as descriptions of funded projects from previous years.  The deadline for grant applications is February 1, 2014.
